Our Church:

 

Our continuing theme is one heart holiness. HCB is a great place to call home. Our church is all about being part of the family of God.  Our core belief is that one can live a life that is pleasing to God and attractive to the world. 

   It is often said by others that Nazarenes are serious about their relationship with God.  This serious intent carries over into our love for people.  It is our desire that we mirror God's love by ministering to others through our friendship and love. Many of our ministries are outward in their focus.  Other programs help nurture those who call Jesus their Savior.

   We carry this serious intent into our time of worship as well.  There is a freedom to praise God.  There are opportunities to grow as Christians when we respond to the preaching of God's Word.  We have an open altar for prayer.  All of these combine to provide the nurture one needs to grow up in the Lord.

HCB is an affiliate of the Church of the Nazarene. Our denomination was founded in 1908 with 200 congregations. Today we have 14,000 churches around the world, including 5,000 here in the United States. We are a Christian church in the Wesleyan tradition. Our emphasis is upon the grace of God that offers us the power to live "loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbor as ourselves."
